We welcome Mathijs van Hilten to the Meyer guitar amps family. Mathijs plays a custom modified Meyer Brighton 45 amp with special requirements. The single channel amp is based on the first pre amp Meyer Brighton channel with additional tone controls. Besides the treble and bass controls, which work inside the pre-amp, the power amplifier is extended with a presence and resonance control. Most people are familiar with a presence control but a resonance control is somewhat more exotic. Where the presence control interacts with the high frequencies feedback in the power amp section, the resonance control interacts with the bass frequencies in the power amp.
