BLACKPOOL 55 - HEAD | Meyer Amps

General description

The Meyer Blackpool 55 head is a single channel medium gain custom amplifier. In contrast to the Brighton series, the Blackpool facilitates a gain and master volume together with an active buffered effects loop on the rear side.

The power amplifier is driven by a set of selected and matched KT77 (EL34/6CA7 optional) tubes and is powered by high quality transformer and GZ34 tube rectifier. The pre-amps features a combination of 5751 and ECC83/12AX7 tubes and a single ECC81/12AT7 tube.

The KT77 tube … the ultimate EL34/6CA7 replacement. The KT77 has been the most desirable tube in the world for quite a long time.
