BRIGHTON 14 - HEAD | Meyer Amps

General description

The latest addition of the Brighton series is the Meyer Brighton 14. The amplifier combines two differently voiced channels in a high quality custom amplifier with a reduced maximum output power. The first channel focusses on the mid tones in the guitar sound while the second channel has a balanced tone with lots of low end and high sparkle. The power amplifier uses a set of selected EL84 tubes and is powered by high quality transformer and a 5Y3GT rectifier tube. The pre-amps section feature two ECC83 (12AX7) tubes and a single ECC832 (12DW7) tube.

Like the Brighton 14 combo this amplifier handles the power for home, studio and live performances. The Brighton 14 head accepts one or two extension cabinets at 4, 8 and 16 Ω. Also available in a 20W and 45W head, 14W, 20W and 45W combo version.
